Juara Holding Group (JHG) has returned as the main sponsor of Golfphoria 2026, an annual virtual golf tournament organized by Bali International Golf (BIG). Now in its fourth edition, Golfphoria 2026 welcomed 312 participants and continues to strengthen its position as one of Bali’s anticipated golf events.
Juara Holding Group’s support for Golfphoria 2026 reflects the company’s broader commitment to supporting the development of sports, tourism, and lifestyle experiences in Indonesia. Through the partnership, JHG is also strengthening its vision of connecting sports with travel experiences while introducing more people to destinations across Indonesia.
Golfphoria 2026 featured a unique virtual golf experience that allowed participants to play at Royal Portrush Dunluce Links in Northern Ireland, the host venue of The Open Championship in 2025. The event also featured two tee-off sessions, followed by a gala dinner in the evening.
Golfphoria has been an annual event at Bali International Golf since 2023. After setting a MURI record in 2025 as the virtual golf tournament with the highest number of participants in Indonesia, Golfphoria 2026 is currently undergoing the administrative process for a Guinness World Records submission.
Juara Holding Group Offers 13 Premium Travel Packages

As part of its support for Golfphoria 2026, Juara Holding Group contributed 13 premium travel packages through the event’s lucky draw program.
The packages offered travel experiences to three leading destinations in Eastern Indonesia: Komodo (Labuan Bajo), Luwuk Banggai, and Sumba.
The travel packages were made possible through the collaboration of three tourism businesses within the Juara Holding Group ecosystem: Indonesia Juara Trip, Komodo Luxury, and Bali Premium Trip.
The initiative reflects Juara Holding Group’s view of the strong connection between sports and tourism. Participants may come to Bali to take part in a golf tournament, while also receiving the opportunity to discover other destinations across Indonesia.
“We see Bali as a hub for sport tourism in Indonesia. People come here for sports, for golf, and then we introduce them to the beauty of Eastern Indonesia. Our hope is simple: they come for golf, and then fall in love with Eastern Indonesia,” said Agung Afif, Founder of Juara Holding Group.
Connecting Golf with Bali’s Growing Sport Tourism Potential

The collaboration between Juara Holding Group and Bali International Golf comes at a time when Bali’s potential as a sport tourism destination continues to grow.
Sports are no longer limited to competition. They can also become a reason for people to travel. Tournaments, sports facilities, communities, and destination experiences can come together to create a broader travel ecosystem.
Golf has strong potential within this ecosystem. With participants coming from different backgrounds and regions, golf tournaments can serve as platforms to introduce new destinations, premium experiences, and tourism opportunities across Indonesia.
Through Golfphoria 2026, Juara Holding Group sees an opportunity to connect the experience of playing golf in Bali with travel experiences in other destinations, particularly across Eastern Indonesia.
For JHG, this connection forms part of a broader effort to strengthen Indonesia’s position as a destination where sports and travel can come together.
Supporting the “Everyone Can Golf” Initiative
Juara Holding Group’s support for Golfphoria 2026 also aligns with Bali International Golf’s social responsibility initiative, “Everyone Can Golf, Everyone Deserves a Chance.”
Through the initiative, Bali International Golf aims to provide greater access to golf for children from orphanages in Denpasar and surrounding areas through a structured and sustainable development program.
The initiative is part of a broader effort to make golf more inclusive and accessible to a wider range of communities.
“Juara Holding Group believes that sports are a bridge that brings together the spirit of competition, a healthy lifestyle, and social values. Through our support for Golfphoria 2026, we hope that the spirit of ‘Everyone Can Golf’ can reach more people, while also bringing premium travel experiences to the lucky participants,” said Agung Afif.
Bali International Golf Moves Towards Becoming a Sport Hub Center
Golfphoria 2026 also comes as Bali International Golf expands its vision beyond being a golf destination towards becoming a Sport Hub Center in Bali.
In the future, Bali International Golf is expected to feature a wider range of sports and recreational facilities, including billiards, padel, and a running track.
The development reflects changing trends in the tourism and lifestyle industries, as travelers increasingly seek destinations that offer a broader range of experiences.
Bali International Golf has the potential to develop into a space that brings together sports, entertainment, communities, and lifestyle experiences in one destination.
In a broader context, this development also supports Bali’s potential as a sport tourism destination. Visitors can travel not only to enjoy the island’s landscapes and culture, but also to participate in sporting events, engage in physical activities, and enjoy a range of lifestyle experiences.
Golfphoria 2026 Strengthens the Connection Between Sports and Tourism
With Juara Holding Group as its main sponsor, Golfphoria 2026 demonstrates how a sporting event can evolve into a platform that connects multiple sectors.
From sports and lifestyle to tourism and social initiatives, Golfphoria creates opportunities for different parties to come together and collaborate.
For Juara Holding Group, supporting Golfphoria 2026 is part of its commitment to contributing to the development of Indonesia’s tourism and lifestyle ecosystem.
Through the collaboration between Juara Holding Group and Bali International Golf, a golf tournament in Bali can become a gateway to introducing more people to the experiences and destinations Indonesia has to offer.
Because in the end, someone may come to Bali to play golf. But from there, their journey may continue as they discover more of Indonesia.
